Grimsel 360° Photo

Photographer’s Note

To continue in the extra-large, as Brigitte likes them, here an other collar of Switzerland: the Grimsel. Grimsel culminates to 2165 m, it makes the connection between the canton of Bern and the Valais. The river Aar runs on the northern slope of the collar. There are on this slope several dams. On the southern slope, it is the valley of the Rhone. One sees on the photograph, the left, the glacier of the Rhone, as well as the collar of Furka, which connects the Valais with the canton of Uri, but it is another history...

The photograph represents 360°, it is an assembly of 29 photographs. The small picture represent 150°. Unfortunately it was already more than 5 pm and the sun is low. A cloud partially hid it to me. And your servant is just on the left of the glacier. I am still on Valis, but you can see on the other bord of the lake, the Bernese side.

Magnifique ton panorama du Grimsel. J'aime bien ton ombre sur la verion large elle met un plus à l'image.
En revanche j'aurais essayé d'atténuer un peu les tache de soleil.

Dommage pour les reflets du soleil comme tu dias dans ta note.

Très beau panoramam ce ce col qui est mangifique, cela m'époustouffle toujours autant ces motagnes de plsuieurs photos, quel boulot. tu a bien réussi ce ciché malgré les conditiions métérologiques difficile,très belle maitrise, le temps change très rapidement dans ces endrtois .On voit aussi la route du col de la Furka.
Bravo et belle soirée.

Pour ma photo, je comprends, je me suis déplacé légèremnent en peu en bas du sommet du cole et je suis monté dans la pente pour la prende, autrement on n'arrive pas à la voir cette montange et elle est tout à gauche, j'ai dur cadré très serré contre l'ombre.

Hi Jacques,
Another beautiful Alpine pass panorama. Rough landscape looks good. It's hard to guess it's october. Every degree of the 360° is worth seeing.

You are very good at these kind of panos J. And this one is a good contribution in your series. Impressive with 29 photos (was that necessary...). Fun by your own shadow in the start there. 360 deg. wow...

Pas facile a inclure un contre-jour sur un panorama; haureusement que le soleil était masqué.
Pas mal ton ombre projetée sur l'avant-plan.
Le paysage est magnifique.
Tu devrais publier plus souvent.
