Sion, a photo from Valais, West

Photographer's Note

After Lake Geneva we continued towards Valais to see the famous Aletsch gletcher, but we needed to stay a night in the vicinity and chose Sion.
This was a very good choice as this is a beautiful french inspired city with this fortified church and a castle overlooking the city.
I tried a B+W workshop, but it didn't really come out well so this is the one i chose.

Your low POV really works here to set off the castle against the blue sky. I like the judicious crop to post in panoramic format.

Pretty place Harry. I like the castle in the top of the hill. Nice colors and sharp. A bit overexposed, but it didn't bothers me.
