Near the best lake in the world to understand immediately that mountain building the way you were told in school is a lie.

Glarus Alps (Glarneralpen) in the background, the frame for Europe's deepest valley, abruptly ending on the other side at Linthal, the only village in Europe located at the bottom of a 3,000+ meters vertical drop.

Hi Francis,

That's a nice mountain view, with perfect light and great background.

Well done.

A classic view of this part of Switzerland, Francis. You've composed this well to include all the elements of typical Swiss lake to mountain scenery. Cheers . . . David

Hi Francis, very scenic landscape that you have captured with a well balanced composition and good exposure, keep up the great work.

Très belle photo de ce magnifique endroit où l'on est aussi impressionné par la beauté des bâtiments que par celle de l'arrière plan montagneux.
