Photographer’s Note

This was the beautiful small train going up from Grund to Grindelwald (distance is less than 10 minutes, but about 300 meters more of denivellation) and the day before i took this small train to go from Grund to Grindelwald we were walking in our sandals outside... temperature was better... but early in the morning, we got caught in a snowstorm, so the tracks were all covered in snow. Grindelwald is about 1034 meters up in the mountains... so they decided to put a snowblower(?) shovel in front of the train to remove snow from track. Snow flakes are huge in the mountains! i went to the valleys further down to be on the grass again..

Picture was taken with a larger opening to try catching snow flakes...
