Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken during the second day of our fantastic TE 2006 Val-de-Travers meeting in "Gorges d'Areuse".

The weather was just beginning to get better at that time and it will get better throughout the day.

The place is really fantastic and I was estonished by the difference beetween these huge rock cliffs and all these trees trying to survive in such an hostile environment.

Beautiful autumn scene where the rock cliff gives special alpine touch. Great colours and texture. It's just a pity that JPG compression doesn't do justice to foliage details. I bet they looked sharper originally.

This is something i never see, and seeing this from someone else i alwys admire that style and eye. A wonderfull pictures with great contrast and detail and superb sharpness...thanks to that white beauty of course ;-)

Bonjour Christian, simple net sans bavure, dans cette nature ou le végétale fille une parfaite alliance avec le minéral, tous se passe bien………….avant que l’homme n’intervienne, je t’envie de faire des photos attractives comme celle-ci, moi s’il n’y a pas 30 degrés un ciel bleu et une bonne luminosité j’ai du mal, j’ai aussi du mal à me rappeler de tous, de toute façon j’ai eu très bon contacte avec tous sans exception, tu es de Paris je crois, toute façon l’on se reverra, bien amicalement

Bonne idée que d'isoler cette arbre aux couleurs automnales sur un fond de roche... Du coup, joli contraste de la nature...

J'aime beaucoup cette idée de photo avec la paroi en arrière plan. cet arbre a bien capté le peu de lumière ambiante.

Ca y est, une par jour, tu n'as ps perdu ton temps,
j'aime bien ce contraste jaune sur fond gris. cela fait bie nressortir les feuilles.
