Plane on a Glacier
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French] |
This is a shot taken from the Mönchsjoch-Hütte at an elevation of 3,650 metres. This is a view from the Aletsch Glacier.
It was very surprising to see a plane landing directly on the glacier at this elevation. |

Your photo is very nicely done. I would suggest you use auto levels to correct the tones. This would make your snow appear more white. It would also remove the blueish tint that appears all over your photo. Very nice POV and a rare subject that you have captured. As a trick i might suggest buying a regular circular polorizer and even if it doesn't fit on your lense to just place it over the lense when you take photos in such harsh and demanding light. The filter will darken the sky and and increase overall saturation and change the f-stop.

Hi Laurent,
You subject was very good but missing some contrasts so I posted a rework in workshop. Hope you'll like it.

Hello Laurent! This is a great shot of something I certainly don't see everyday. Very nice composition with the plane in the direction of the tracks. The inclusion of the pilot gives scales to the landscape.
Nice work!
