Salut Gal,
Je regarde ton image tandis que la pluie tombe sur le vélux au-dessus de ma tête... ça rend ta photo encore plus réaliste! J'aime cette image un peu floue, comme si l'abondance d'eau qui tombe du ciel brouillait totalement la vue et ta note m'a fait sourire (comme d'habitude). Prions, mon frère pour des jours meilleurs...

very successfull shot in pretty much all respect, have seen few nice rainy shots lately, and this one belongs to the better once, there is a mood, I would even call it Swiss mood, nice shades of green that show throught the whole image. If I was to nitpick about anything, it would be about strong dark blue sign in the top left corner, for me it simply doesn't much colour wise. A bit of colour manipulation there IMO would go a long way.

Rain is over all Europe ;o).

Nice shot, I can feel the wind, the rain, the water on my raincoat and shoes ...

It's funny, I would see this one more in b/w, the rain, the blurry shot, the brightness in some zones would have give a nice b/w photo.
I tried a BW version but I'm limited today for the WS, will release it tomorrow.

The people seem like drips running down with the water. I like it very much. The blur is excellent. I kind of agree with Alain about the black and white, but I like the red of the skirt so much I don't know for sure. Its lovely work.

the blur makes this shot special. a good experiment with exclusive results. looks washed out watercolor paining.

intéressant à nouveau. Un côté mystérieux avec ce flou et qui, comme d'autres l'ont noté, qui donne l'impression de pluie en effet. J'aime bien les points de couleurs.

c'est une photo qui file le bourdon. A part peut-être la touche de couelur verte du parapluie. Je vois de plus en plus de photos floues, je suis un peu perturbé, Alain en a d'ailleurs postée une dernièrement aussi.
C'est "moody" et ce n'est pas inesthétique.
Je ne sais pas ce qu'il m'arrive en ce moment, gavé à la seauce "piqué extra plus de chez plus", je ne poste plus de photos pas assez floues, pas assez nettes, pas assez ceci ou cela.
bon je vais me reprendre, c'est vrai que la météo doit avoir une sale influence :o))
Tout ça pour dire, qu'in fine, elle me plait bien ta photo pour son charme et son mystère.

Yes, you're true. Sun keeps shining in sunny Portugal. Maybe that's a reason for my love towards this photo. I love the hazy feel of it. That bicycle against that clear dark background is my favorite spot in this scene. It kind of gives me a getaway from this awful weather. The sign on top can also point to another escape… Very sensitive work Gal!

Your notes are good for the soul.

I love the dreaminess here but I'm not crazy about the writing along the top, which spoils it for me (even though it's pertinent to your notes). It's a wonderful departure from your other Geneva shots, so stern and angular.

Superbe cette scene de grande plui, Gal. Moi aussi j'etais coince a Haiphong avec Luko pendant le Deluge...;o)
Vraiment une tres belle image ou le flou donne une poesie tres forte - j'aime ton ironie toujours aussi piquante aussi.

Hey Gal,

a good shot. A blur with a pirpose. A blur that says something. A blur that sets a mood. The umbrellas tell us its raining. The blur tells us its raining like mad, like out of Noah's story, washing away everything. A real nice shot.

C'est vraiment ce qui caractérise le mois d'aout 2006: la pluie!!
Et cette photo est une réussite..Comment tu as pu avoir une partie de l'écriteau net alors que tout le reste est flou!! J'aime vraiment l'atmosphère que tu as capturé.
