Today, I´ m switching back to my Swiss trip...this view really is like from some fairytale, isn´t it?

You´ll probably remember this photo, it was removed by TE, because I "excessively thanked" for the critiques (as they said). This way I would like to thank to all those, who critiqued this photo, I appreciated all of them.

This view was taken from the old rampart walls of Murten, which are unique in Switzerland, with accessible walkway which offer amazing views.

Hi Ivana.
Please don't thank me for the critiques :))
I'll just say that I like the criss cross pattern of the roofs and the way you noticed this and decided to take a close view of them, without any people, just concentrating on the roofs.

take care, Aleks

Hi Ivana,
Very interesting texture in this view. Good colors, light and sharpness.
Good point of view,
Thanks and have a nice day,
Aires

Bonjour Ivana
Joli cliché de ces toits colorés et qui semblent imbriqués les uns dans les autres.
Merci pour le partage.
Amitiés
Nicole

I remember Marburg in Germany , not far from Frankfurt . What surprised me most in that place was the surrealistic disposition of the roofs , that random motley rain of shapes, levels , angles and fantastic chaos that i 've found in your fantastic picture

Did not know about the removal for having thanked it many times (stupid decision) . Your images are so nice that it is easy to raise reactions from them without effort

See you Ivanita (as you saw i did not disappear just move my address . Anette is moving soon to Spain and ,leaving apart 20-25 newer pictures , more or less interesting , i don't have enough material to upload by here , so with her and little trips(taking just one camera , we are not japanese ;) ) we will complilate more

Kisses

Hello Ivana

Roofs have something special.
YOu managed it well here.

Well done
Sakis

Hi Ivana!

To be true i can't understand the reason for removing your pic..But you know better..

As i said before it is a beautiful comp with many great details, especially the variety of its colour tones and the way each roof completes the others to give to the observer a different than usual,view..Lighting,contrast and sharpness is also very good..

Well done,
Nikos..

Excellent idea, Ivana and a beautiful result! The paterns are great. POV and colours are wonderful. I like the detail of the rooftops and most of all the different levels of the chimneys. I also want to thank you for your kind critiques. No need for you to thank me :)
Congratulations,
Hercules

what a title...it just sums up the shot completely..i like roof shots and this one is perfect for me...they can either be reqular or random as this is..the most interesting part is the sky...which you left out since it has no importance here..
thank you
god bless
geof

Hello Ivana,

Nice to see this absolutely beautiful photo with superb point of view on original and graphic subject. Alternative orientation of roofs creates different tones and make this image irresistible.

Have a nice weekend Ivana!

André

Bonsoir Ivana

Claudia

Hi Ivana, trying to catch up with my critiques & comments here. This is one dense view of rooftops. Reminded me of the roof scene from a Peter Pan movie. While you have just about every part of the frame is of roofing material, you didn't forget to lead the viewer from the roof window, facing us. Good composition of this roof scene Ivana but I'd suggest, don't go walking on those shingles. They looked pretty slippery by the looks of it.

makes your comp look very artistic/geometric in many ways.
i also appreciate the brown colours here...good play with natural lighting.
sorry i can't give you any props for this...i ran out for the day.

Hello Ivana,
Please do not answer anything to my critique ;-)
But I will tell you that I like this view of the roofs, whithout seeing the walls or sky. It is just like if we were walking on the roofs as a new land. Interesting pov.
Again I can see you had a nice weather... ;-)
Best regards. Christian

Yes, it's like a fairytale. I like that they are so equal in style and that they form such an interesting pattern. Removed because of excessive thanking???

Congratulation,
Corinne

Hi Ivana!
Very good impression! Interesting theme and nice colours.
George

Amazing roofs ...indeed seems be a fairy tale town, Very dense....superb sharpness and saturation. Excellent POV,too
All the best

Chaotic, rythmic patterns, with well saturated colors from the rain. Love this kind of shots, they give me the impression of looking from a window while enjoying a find book. Great capture, Ivana.

Enrique

Wow, Ivana, what a marvellous image! The crossing of planes in different angles is a very photogenic by itself, and you have managed to see and capture these roofs in a perfect way. Thanks!
Alexander

Salut Ivana,
J'aime beaucoup le graphisme de cette photo, c'est presque abstrait !
Bien vu!
Nicole

Hi Ivana! Yes, fairytale indeed. I like the tight composition and square-format. Very good job, as one can expect from you.. =)

see you,
Jarkko
