Photographer’s Note
Again a photo from my skiing trip yesterday. A criticizer suggested that I should upload a photo with more panorama or overview of the mountains, so I did. I think its taken on the same spot as the other from yesterday, but without zoom.
If you look closely you can see the skiiers and the lifts...
I concidered to crop a bit more of the sky, but as the photo is now Weisshorn is exactly in the middle...

Allan good decision. This shows a lot more details. If i see this picture, i want to ski! You are a luckey man to live near the alps. Another greta job.

i saw the other one and the same applies..the distant mountains are put into perspective by the close rock outcrops show at the right hand side.which is good..the skiers are a bonus but the jet contrail looks bigger here..can you take it out?

a nice view on the Weisshorn ;-)
hard lightning conditions (dark rocks + exposed snow at the right), but the metering of your camera did well (but surely not 30 seconds for the exposure as indicated ;-) ). IMO, a UV-filter could have still enhanced this picture.

It is very hard to take picture of snow. I had the experience last week during my skiing week vacation. Here, I think you can select the backgrounf and decrease the blue color. Also, i would crop a little sky on the top but the composition still good. Nice picture.
