The Shadow Creeps Photo

Photographer’s Note

Now you may have noticed that I rather like mountains. Whilst in Kandersteg Ice climbing we were treated to great weather, blue skies and sunshine.

As I drank a hot and sweet mug of hot chocolate after a good days climbing I watched this shadow creep up the flank of the mountain.

Kandersteg is a sleepy Swiss village in the Bernese Oberland. A mecca for ice climbers where it hosts an ice climbing competition and festival each January.

This is nice photo, interesting shadow and colors.

I have similar to this photo also from Kandersteg. I like that place a lot, I am scout and often going there in the Scout Center.

Good title for your mountan composition with mountains sharply etched against the glorious blue sky and the shadow creeping in to hide the glory
