Photographer’s Note

This a Castle in Sion. In Valais in Suisse; you had to climb a steep hill on which the castle was raised. It happened that the city grew around it, and therefore the view fromthere was enormous, however also very, very scary ;-)
The gate I went thorugh I found very intersting, and I thought I need to include it in the picture, so that you can see the perspective of height, of the climb.

I hope this makes you want to go there and visit the palce, because it is seriosuly nice.

Great shot!

I love the idea. The town below is a little washed out, probably a consequence of the dark interior. Might there be a way to correct this? Since the inside is already dark, just increase the contrast and make the inside nearly black and hopefully bring out more color in the town.. just a though, but i love the picture!
