A nice photo, but it's realy not looking its best due to incorrect levels adjustments - see my workshop.

Nate, welcome to TE! I like this mood, increasing contrast changes it... Maybe I would prefer something between original photo and workshop but not neccesarily. I have another suggestion - the photo seems to be tilted CW. But this is a detail. Good work for the beginning :-)
