[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
August 1993 was a sad date for Switzerland and the world. The Chapel bridge (Kapellbrücke) burned in a 80%. This was the wooden oldest bridge in Europe, built in 1333.
Switzerland is a country in which heritage and tradition are kept with love and perseverance. The bridge was restored in 1994.
I choosed this point of view because from here can be seen different colours on the roof that may correspond to the original parts, on the left side and near the tower. I have been seeking in the internet for information about which are the old parts that remain without success, so I am not very sure. If somebody knows it, additional information will be appreciated.
This bridge crosses over the Reuss river few meters after the end of the Lake of Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee). This beautiful lake is surrounded by high mountains and the first cantons (states) of the Swiss Confederation (Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden). The heart of Switzerland.
This photo is scanned from a 35mm negative with too much noise and dots of dust. I have eliminated some of these dots with Photoshop and reduced the noise with Neat Image.

Hola ,Clemente.

Gracias Clemente.

I know the problems with scanned pictures. The quality is not what you hoped, but the scene is so nice or so valuable. Or when will you come back at that place with your new digital camera. And the workshop I tried to improve the picture a little more and played a little with the colours to get a more threat in the picture.

Good point of view and DOF.Very good colors and good contrtast between them.I like the light, textures and sharpness.I like the detail of the persons.Well done!
