Photographer's Note

El río Arve es un río de Francia y Suiza, un afluente del río Ródano. Nace en valle de Chamonix, en los Alpes y recoge las aguas de diversos torrentes del lado noroeste del macizo del Mont Blanc.

Tiene una longitud de 102 km, discurriendo su mayor parte en la Alta Saboya (Francia), excepto los últimos kilómetros que transcurre por Ginebra (Suiza).

Desemboca en el Ródano en su curso medio, un kilómetro después de que este haya atravesado el lago Lemán.

Arve River is a river in France and Switzerland, a tributary of the River Rhone. Born in the valley of Chamonix in the Alps and collects water from several streams on the northwest side of Mont Blanc.

It has a length of 102 km, running mostly in the Haute Savoie (France), except the last mile that passes through Geneva (Switzerland).

It flows into the Rhone in its middle course, one mile after it has passed through Lake Geneva.
