Each autumn brings again the Herbschtsmäss to Basel, together with its lot of attractions in several places of the inner city, time for fun including photo fun using zoom during exposure to get this psychedelic motion effect in form of an Iroquois hair cut on the ferris wheel

i do find the bright blue in the bottom distracting, i think it would be better if it was cropped out.

very effective use of zooming during expusure with an unreal but great result. The colours are fantastic and I like your interpretation with the Iroquois hair cut on the ferry wheel. Interesting photo technique, I like it.

Je me souviens de tes images pleines de mouvement.
En voici encore un bel exemple. Une photographie avec un effet de zooming très fort mais très réussi. Le mouvement est bien linéaire. C'est bientôt la fête à Bâle.

Without reading the note I thought had been doing quite some creative photoshopping or combining photo's ...
On some places (like in the bottom) it looks like the movement was not constant but staged.

En, tout cas sur ta photo, on est pas en train de s'ennuyer! Il ne manque que la musique pour rocker en rythme. J'imagine qu'il a fallu pas mal d'essai pour avoir quelque chose de satisfaisant! C'est d'autant plus méritoire que le cadrage est superbement maîtrisé!

A classy production ive seen for a long time..something that i stop by appreciating had i seen it in a travel magazine or elsewhere..

love whats the sensor has produced has produced in 3 seconds and the manipulation of the zoom ring..iso100 ? is a surprise..

If you have the latest nat geo magazine..check out the photo of a kingfisher swooping down into the sea..its something youve never seen before..worth it take a look..you will know why i am telling you to brother...

A fine experiment mixing slow shutter speed and your action with the zoom lens. The radial lights creates an effect of psychedelia, and your picture is proof of how your creativity was able to create a picture of a Ferris Wheel, so very different

la 1ère chose qui me soit venue en tête en regardant cette image est celle d'un couvre chef Indien d'Amérique...
Je n'ai jamais fait de photos dans une fête foraine et en voyant celle-ci, ça me donne envie d'en faire...
Intéressante cette utilisation du zoom pendant l'expo...
(ici pas de marrons, de la bière oui mais pas terrible ;)

J aime bien ce type de photos avec des effets de lumieres transformés a la prise de vue avec un petit coup d explo-zoom.
Le rendu est tres dynamique et sympa. J aurais préféré un ciel encore bleu, mais c est que l on devient exigeant sur TE ;-)
