Congratulations Asa. I'm going to end my 4th year in a few days.
Your celebratory photo shows a vast landscape of snow-topped mountains and an extraordinary sky. You exposed the scene well, controlling the large expanse of white snow successfully. Good detail in the huge rocky basin in front of the observation point; I imagine it must have been a glacial valley long ago. Good work and good note. And keep on shooting.

Hi Asa,

The point of view takes our eyes through the valley to the mountains which is giving a sense of depth to the composition. The subject is well framed. The nice blue sky with is generating a light which is enhancing the beauty of the colors. have a nice day.

Happy anniversary and compliments for this crystal clear photos of beautiful Swiss mountains. I spent many fine holidays in the mountains of Bern, long ago, and probably I've been there too (I cannot remember now after so many years).
The photo conveys an inspiring sense of wide space and distance and the composition, thanks to that white triangle of snow too, has a good balance.

I love the point of view of your picture but the picture is not straight (you should add 1 degree of rotation). Anyway it's a very nice picture very well composed (it's very hard to succeed this king of picture because the light due to the snow is really hard).

Hi Asa, A very fine alpine landscape in Switzerland, with a seeming lack of snow for such an altitude. The various twists and turns in the rock groups, so common in the Alps, is very well demonstrated. Just like being there alongside you. TFS. Murray.

Great point of view .. the vastness is tremendous .. the way the central ridge falls from your vantage point up and across the the next range of mountains is tremendous .. as is the emptiness of that valley ... that foreground snow is overwhelming .. very nice. take care, John
