Photographer's Note
On the Great Aletsch Glacier, way back in my mountaineering life.
Pete & I had stopped for a bite, using this lump of rock for our dining table.
The rock must have fallen on the glacier long ago and way up, then protected by the sun the snowfall formed a single stand.
We went on past Concordia, camped on the glacier and then climbed the Finsteraarhorn.
Photo scanned in from the original slide, settings not known.

Hello,
It is easy to recognize the scanned slide versus the digital photo we are used to see now without any grain.
Nice view in wide angle showing well the wide environment around the 'table'. In the same time as the action caught, we have a good view on the glacier.
It seems your scan evidence a bit to much blue tones. It can be worth to correct a bit the color balance adding more yellow tones.
Yves.
