Photographer’s Note

Yesterday afternoon, taking advantage of a clearing, I was able to capture the light on the church of La Chaux-du-Milieu.
That did not last and a few minutes later another snowstorm!

From the early sixteenth century, the inhabitants of Le Locle colonize this region and are attached to the parish of Le Locle until 1716, date of foundation of the parish of La Chaux-du-Milieu and the construction of the church . Source Chaux-du-Mileu.ch

Salut Fabien,
très photogénique cette église ! ta composition ne manque pas de dynamisme, je regrette peut être un peu la couleur "flashy" du ciel (c'est moi qui dit ca !!!) mais tout le reste est de très haut niveau !

Excellent ton point de vue ! J'ai cherché un point de vue dégagé pour cette église mais j'avais toujours des voitures parquées devant. Rien de cela ici. La neige donne une excellent contraste et l'avant plan un très bon dynamisme. L'image serait parfaite si il le ciel n'avait pas cette étrange couleur.

Beautiful winter shot. Bright blue sky is reflected on untouched snow. Very good composition. This church is blended with surrounding landscape very harmonicly.

Magnifique composition ! L'église est très belle , et la maison lui fait un beau contre point . Bien sûr , la barrière enneigée joue un rôle de premier plan . Je trouve le ciel assez naturel .

This is a great Papagolfade for this fine Sunday morning. Your composition and POV are great using a nice angle to create depth and direction. The fence line creates a nice diagonal through the scene. The lighting and colors are excellent with nice sharpness and DOF.

C'est très beau !
La lumière est superbe mais ce que je préfère ici c'est ton excellent compo avec les barrières enneigées au premier plan.

J'aime beaucoup cette barrière couverte de neige. En plus elle est très bien placée dans la diagonale pour creer de la profondeur. L'église est bien nette et ressort superbien contre le ciel dont la couleur me plaît - c'est moi qui dit ca !!! ;-)
