Still from the Arboretum National at the Aubonne valley.
Created in 1968 with area around 130 hectares, there are almost 3'000 different species of trees.

What a wonderful autumn shot.Good composition with the lake as foreground and wonderful reflections.There are so many diferent autumnal colors and they contrast verry well with the dark shadows.A great shot!

I think that this Arboretum is the right place to capture autumn colours! and you did it very well! the lake reflection is a great way to increase autumn beauty, to duplicate it!

Beautiful autumn scene from the Arboretum again, Cessy. Nice how the streak of sunlight paints the vivid colors in the trees' foliage, and good inclusion of the reflections to amplify the scenic and colorful value of the view.

This one has wide variety of autumn colours. And they repeat from lake reflections. Darkish exposure shows colours strong. Beautiful and relaxing.

A very flat view, but that presents a nice reflection and a very rich variety of fall color tones, the red tress on the left stands out strongly here, it's nearly flashing on my screen ;-)

A rich pallette here, with good shadow effects and reflections. I like the large number of subtly different hues and tones here in this moody shot. As your note relates, there are also many different species of trees. The proportion of water to land without showing the sky allows for high impact. Well captured.

Another stunning arboretum picture form you. The composition is so harmonious and the prefect reflections are so stunning. The whole picture has a relaxing and calming action on me, that I was looking at it for over 10 minutes and let me forget my stressfull day.
