Autumn in Binntal Photo

Photographer’s Note

Le moment où les mélèzes voient leur feuillage passer du vert tendre au jaune doré est sans doute celui que je préfère . Ils prendront ensuite des teintes plus rousses avant la chute finale .
Le chemin de l'Albrunpass , entre Imfeld et l'Alpe Freichi , est d'un parcours des plus agréables . Un sentier large , en pente douce , traverse une somptueuse forêt de mélèzes pacagée , et donc particulièrement aérée et lumineuse . C'est le chemin situé sur l'adret qu'il faut emprunter en cette saison , celui du fond de vallée restant dans l'ombre une grande partie de la journée . En arrière plan , les pentes découpées en ravins du Breithorn .

Hello Denis,
A splendid composition of this majestic landscape. Good use of the vertical format to give emphasis to the tall trees and to encompass the bench, which brings a human touch to the scene. The tones in the foliage are beautifully rendered under a very pleasing light and make a great contrast with the snow covered mountains in the background. Beautiful natural looking colours and superb sharpness from back to front.

Hello,

alors tu as fait un bon séjour en haut-Valais je vois, tu as trouvé les merveilleux mélèzes en feu, quelle image , du Binnthal, avec le petit banc, le deux plan, le plan sombre fait très bien ressotir le premier plan, les pentes escarpés, mervielleuse image, tu emt en valeur parfaitement ma région d'origine, fantastique.

J'aime beaucoup la composition jouant avec les différents plans de couleur : cela donne un effet graphique très intéressant.
La présence du banc, et la façon dont tu l'as placé dans l'image, renforce la beauté de la photo, y ajoutant un point d'accroche pour le regard.

belle compo, j'adore la masse sombre de sapins à gauche, entremêlée d'espèces plus claires

Oh, what a beautiful shot!
The depth, from the light of the f/g trees, through the shadow of the m/g, to the sunlit, snowy mountains, is amazing!
I like how the trees mimic the mountains in shape!
Fine composition, with the f/g triangle anchoring the viewer firmly before the leap across the valley!

Merveilleuse cette composition verticale, la luminosité cette géniale de l'ensemble, le groupe d'arbres avec une brillante lumière, la montagne suivante en contre-jour et celle-là du fond avec la neige au sommet à nouveau illuminé par le soleil croit une combinaison précieuse. La couleur avec ceux-ci verts avec des tons déjà dorés, le banque solitaire tout cela est un cadre pour jouir dans une paix de la nature.

we have great light level,
the landscape is amazing, snowy mountains create a perfect background,

I love the drama of your framing here. I think this is probably the best autumn photo I've seen this year. The foreground triangle with the bench emphasizes the steep drop of the valley, the triagle of golden trees highlighted by the late light stands out well against the the angle of shaded slope then behind all the mountain peak captures the light with fabulous detail and its all captured with amazing sharpness throughout.

Ces mélèzes sont vraiment superbes. Ils ont de la prestance et surtout des couleurs d'une beauté rare. Le reste de la composition est également très beau avec le sommet enneigé sous le ciel bleu.

A glorious picture, beautifully composed with the autumnal hues on the trees, lit by the low sun light, framing a fine contrast with the snow covered mountain peak in the BG. A small but important element is the bench which pivots the shot very well. Fine work!
