During our ski holliday in Champoussin (Portes du Soleil) we had this magnificent fresh snow..! All the trees where covered with a fresh white fur.. We where just relaxing ad the side off the slope and we saw this beautyfull view over the litle village.. Champoussin is a small traditional chalet style village located high up in a sunny south facing bowl offering spectacular panoramic views. The resort is situated at an altitude of 1600 metres which ensures a good covering of snow for the season. Champoussin is one of the very few ski resorts which offers “doorstep’ skiing, simply put your skis on and away you go. It is hard to find a lift queue in this area and the surrounding skiing provides a vast variety of pistes / off piste for all levels of skier. Beginners are also well catered for as the nursery slopes are situated directly behind the village with easy access to and from the village. All this makes for the perfect skiing holiday for individuals , groups or families, right here in Champoussin - Portes du Soleil.
