Le lac de Derborence est le plus jeune lac naturel de Suisse. Il a été créé en 1749 par l'éboulement d'une paroi rocheuse sous le Glacier des Diablerets. En 1714, un premier éboulement avait déjà obstrué en grande partie la vallée.

The Derborence Lake is the youngest natural lake in Switzerland. It was created in 1749 by the fall of a rock face from the Glacier des Diablerets. In 1714, a first landslide obstructed the valley.

A beautifully composed photo Franco,
The use of the log to take your eye into the photo worked really well. Great colour.

Quelle clarté, une bonne perspective avec ce vieux tronc en premier plan qui nous jette dans l'eau. Une promenade à mettre dans mon agenda, il va me manquer des weekend........

Hello Franco,

tu as fais le tout du lac, je vois exactement ous e trouve cette vielle souche, Derborence est un coin merveilleux, comme on le voit sur ton iamge, , avec l'ombre du tronc, la belle vue sur le montagne, une merveille.

Bonsoir Franco,

Le Valais recèle de véritables trésors. Derborence en fait partie: tu nous le présentes ici de façon magistrale, techniquement parfaite. Avec un bon choix de focale qui permet à l'arbre mort de bien jouer son rôle d'avant-plan. Du tout beau travail, vraiment.

Molto bella questa composizione che ritrae un lago che ho visitato molti anni fa. Ricordo ancora il bellissimo colore dell'acqua e il circo di montagne tutt'intorno.
La montagna è uno degli ambienti in cui mi trovo più a mio agio, assieme al mare aperto.
La foto è molto incisiva con un bel cielo e una bella profondità.
