after yesterdays cold beer at the summit restaurant we are here again on the way down, while a cold front is brewing over the mountains.
In the workshop you can actually see myself taking exact this shot. Fame for that one goes to my wife.

Hi Daniel,

Very intriguing image. The green against the white and blue makes for great color contrast...and that one tiny bit of red, which I'm assuming is a Swiss flag, really makes the eye scan over the entire composition. Well done, simple yet strong!

Hi Daniel,

Impressive vantage here in these lofty mountains. I like how the sky isn't the classic blue which would feature in many similar photos, the brooding grey and white combination is good. There are patches of the snow which I would consider to be a bit over exposed but it is difficult to get a happy medium when there is so much contast between shadow and bright in the one natural scene. I do like the texture provided by the rocky foreground.

Hi Daniel, This road down looks quite difficult. One must be very careful going there. Splendid view over the mountains. Nice WS too :). Is this glacier down there?

Hi Daniel,
I would imagine the air here is brisk to say the least! An extremely impressive view, and I am amazed at the wealth of colours this high up, the green rocks and brown earth compliment the white peak really nicely. The sky is fantastic too, it looks like it could not be trusted, but presents a perfect backdrop.

Beautiful! I just got back from Yosemite National Park but it's not as awesome of a sight as this. Good lighting and dof with sharp details. Very well done, tfs.

Not a bad hike for you two, Daniel - and a productive one too, with some great shots. I like this one for the muted greens of the moss in FG especially,which add an interesting shine to the scene. The light on the mountains in BG is exquisite as well. Nicely shot.

Hello Daniel - This is a stunning location. A wild and unspoilt landscape which your shot conveys very well. You captured the layers of mountain well with each layer bringing a variety of tone and colour to the image. spectacular location. Your wife's composition is great as well having a person put inside the picture. I like how many subtle color tones you have captured here especially with the greenish tone covering the rocks in the foreground.
