Autumn Shadow Photo

Photographer’s Note

Autumn is now drawing to an end so I thought I'd better join the club with an autumn scene before it goes out of fashion ;-)

I took this shot this afternoon, while out for a walk nearby. The autumn colours are more or less over now, though the ground was strewn with golden leaves and the low, directional light was very pleasing. I found it hard however to escape my own shadow, especially when shooting at wide angle so here I made a feature of it.
