Photographer’s Note
After much deliberation and scepticism I had finally bought myself a digital camera and this was my first day of using it. I was out walking locally somewhere between Dornach and Liestal and it was a hot, sultry day. I was beginning to feel weary in the midday sun when I spotted this scene - quintessential Switzerland.
Only edited by very slightly cropping on the right hand side.

Hola Susanna, gracias por esta belleza de foto. El contraste de colores es excelente y muy buena composición. El camino denota presencia humana y eso da a la foto más vida. La foto sin el cielo quizás resaltaría más el cuerpo de la misma. Felicidades.

Hi Susanna,
I like the layers in this shot. The foreground is very pretty and delicate, and some of this delicacy is mirrored in the trees in the mid-ground. The path coming in from the right along side the flowers leads the viewer very well in towards the back of the shot. I might have been tempted to crop a bit more of the sky away from the top as I find its brightness a bit harsh.
Regards, Sarah

Hello Susanna,
Wonderful colours and another very nice shot taken against the light. I like it very much.

Very nice. You have many beautiful pictures of Switzerland. This one is very typical and the colors are eye-popping. The composition is good.
