Photographer’s Note

There are 11 old fountains in Solothurn, all decorated with medieval figures
Since the city became the 11th canton of Switzerland in 1481, 11 has become the city’s lucky number: there are 11 fountains, 11 churches and chapels, 11 bells and 11 towers.
The fountains are all made in the 16th century.

interesting this fountain, funny, but I d'ont like of the flash use, I preffer the tripod and long exposure. My opinion, nut great shot.

Although the fountain water is not working, the colorful pillar and the statue is interesting enough to make your shot of using flash to get this detail within this tight space. Obviously your lens comes very handy for this shot. Good detail of the street corner.

This is a nice night shot of this colorful fountain. The buildings frame the fountain nicely providing a good backdrop for the shot. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail.
