It's cold on the Top Photo

Photographer’s Note

Not exactly what I expected this morning on the Belchenfluh. The weather forecast predicted high fog at about 1000m (that bench is at 1098m) and clear views (to the alps I was hoping). But a stiff easterly breeze pressed the fog up against and over the summits. At least the place was not as crowded as on usual sundays/holidays and I've got some creepy fog pictures I'll post in the next few days.

Belle photo. Bonne idée le temps de pose plus long mais pas trop, pour l'effet sur le drapeau. On a vraiment l'impression qu'il fait froid ici. ;-) Belle composition. Bonnes fêtes

Hello, Adrian--
Nice work on this one, the fog gives you a nice mood. Perhaps i would like it a little bit more if you could have taken it from a step or two farther to the left so that the bench and railing at the right would be able to pull into the flag at a harder angle. It's nice as it is though, and the motion blur on the flag is nice, keeping the picture pretty dynamic.

Anyway nice try ! I like the movement of the flag and the colors of coldness (you might be very cold there) ! There is a strange ambiance in your picture that I appreciate !

Bonjour Adrian,

Superbe idée que d'avoir mis une vitesse lente pour le drapeau. Tu as su tirer parti du mauvais temps et en faire une chouette photo qui sort de l'ordinaire.
Question : tu avais des gants ?

C'est image est superbement graphique et il va sans dire que la gestion du temps de pose est parfait. Bravo !
