Chateau de Vaumarcus
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This castle, located in the tiny community of Vaumarcus, was constructed in the 10th Century upon the foundations of Roman structures. It now houses a restaurant and hotel. It sits on a rock shelf overlooking Lake Neuchâtel, and has a beautiful view of the lake and shorelands from the peaceful rear courtyard. |

Hello Sandy,
Bien vu !

Hi Sandy,
Nice view very close of the castle with great sharpness. I like the composition with the tree on left, well seen !

Hi Sandy,
Romandie castles are normally top Trekkers destinations, here you have managed to discover one that is far less known than for example Vufflens, and another good point for this one is that it does not have any scaffolding... Image quality is excellent, the facade shines, I love the medieval appearance and the windows with those nice shutters. I have to stop there some day !
Have a nice day JY
Bonjours,
