Recently the PhotoClub of Neuchatel was asked by the Neuchatel Jardin Botanique to participate in a photo exposition to be held in October 2008. Wanting to get a head start on my fellow club members, I hopped on my bicycle and rode up to the jardin to take a few winter scene photos.


The image shown here was taken in late afternoon in one of the greenhouses at the Jardin Botanique de Neuchatel; the late afternoon sun helps give the picture a rich glow. This picture needed no post processing (other than titling and framing).

Even in January the Jardin Botanique remains a part of the life of local residents. While visiting the park I saw a pair of elederly ladies, a jogger, and a speed walker enjoying the quiet solitude of the gardens,
