Realy a great composition, You know that this one also had be taken in b&w, but I like it so it is, with those soft colours. You did realy a good job here.

How eerie! The perspective is great and the choice of a blurred background gives your shot a strange 3D feel. I can almost feel the cold winter air. I agree with Jaap about the colours, they add a warm quietness... if this means anything...

Nice sence of perspective in this photo Vincent. I like the siluette of the closet tree. Think it would make a nice photo as an isolated tree as well. I think maybe you could use a smaller aparature and longer exposure to have the clouds in focus as well. They seem a bit unsharp.
