Photographer’s Note
This was a rainy day in Luzern. However, between rain drops I took this shot of this landmark of the city. To quote from Wikipedia, "the city straddles the Reuss River where it drains the lake, it has a number of bridges. The most famous is the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), a 204 m (670 ft) long wooden bridge originally built in 1333, although much of it had to be replaced after a fire on August 18, 1993, allegedly caused by a discarded cigarette. Partway across, the bridge runs by the octagonal Water Tower (Wasserturm), a fortification from the 13th century.

Hi Roger,
Three bridges in one. Too bad you experienced rainy day there but the mood is welled captured with downcast light and dark clouds in the sky and mountain. Regards. Latiff.
PS: I was in Luzern again this year 10 days after you. I will later post some photos from the outskirt of the city.

Hi Roger,
The diagonal line of the bridge is an asset to the composition. The tower leads my eye toward the mountains which is giving depth to the photo. The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The cloudy sky is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.
Pierre
