Photographer's Note

Hof Church!

As I promised, here is a sunny scene, for a change, to forget about the cold frosty or snowy and drizzly winter days and to look forward to the coming summer :-)

This is a stitch of 5 photos.

Looking back at that moment, I guess I should have taken not 5 but 55 shots to stitch together!, to achieve a technically better view!
Well, next time, then :-)

I also decided to include the tree in the photo... to make it look more perspective.

In the Workshop: another shot (not a stitch). It was taken 2 minutes earlier with the same ISO (200) but a different F-Number (10), so it is darker, and you will see the difference very clearly.

Which of these two would you prefer as a better variant?
Hof Church is the main cathedral for the city, as well as the St. Leodegar and St. Maurice religious center. A Benedictine monastery was founded here in the 8th century.

In 1633, a fire destroyed the church; it was rebuilt in 1645.

It is the most important Renaissance church in Switzerland.

Especially noteworthy are the faade, Mary's alter (with a relief panel dating from 1500), and the souls' altar.
