Photographer's Note

This weeks little hike brought us to the charming little town of St. Ursanne in the Jura, a region of Switzerland of gentle rolling hills, small towns and free roaming horses in the french speaking part of the country.
St. Ursanne was founded by an Irish monk by the name of Ursicinus in ad 612. We see here the bridge built in 1728 and is consacrated to Johanes von Nepomuk. St. Ursanne has a acutal population of 618 inhabitants. It was a more important town in the middle ages when the monastry was still in working order.
a good week to all Trekkers
