Photographer’s Note

This is a chair kept on a high pedestal in front of UN Headquarters in Geneva. One of the legs is broken. This symbolizes the plight of thousands of children and women who lost their legs or hands while playing or working in the fields due to the land mines kept underneath during war. Lady Diana was one of the leading personalities who fought against using land mines in war which continues to punish the innocent even after the war.
