Photographer's Note

Geneva ’s ancient Old Town is a maze of sloping cobblestone streets and alleyways filled with cafes, boutiques and historical landmarks at every turn. Right in the center of Old Town, is the oldest public square in Geneva, the Place du Bourg-de-Four (formerly a Roman marketplace) - full of boutiques, antique shops and warm, friendly bistros.

The walk upwards the slope takes you to the Cathédrale St-Pierre, and along the way one comes across such murals on the walls of old buildings. Based on the inscription, this one was by Swiss painter, Bodjol
