Photographer’s Note

Jet d'eau, with about 130m or 425 feet, making it Europe's tallest fountain. One of the best is if rainbow apppears as the sun light the fountain

Naturally it became the target point for any tourist and... any photographer, coming to Geneva :).

On last saturday, the geneva peope has the opportunity to be visited by lots of TrekEarth-ers, thanks to wonderful organisation by Brigitte, these TE-ers seems well behave - at least until I sadly has to leave them :)

The workshop contains the group pictures, it's really nice to meet you guys, thanks for coming :)
will try to find out how to put and share all these documentation photos I have

content d'avoir pu faire ta connaissance à l'occasion de cette excellente journée où tout etait reglé merveilleusement. Brigitte a même commandé le beau temps temps, la lumiere et les arcs en ciel !!!
belle image aussi le groupe en infrarouge !!!
un tres bon moment.
merci d'en reparler en photos.

Hi Cessy, nicely seen with the ranbow crossing the Jet d'Eau. It was a pleasure meeting you and sharing some moments of good humour and friendship. Original choice for the group photographs with the use of the infrared filter. Enjoy your sunday and see you around in TE.

Hi Cessy. A nice scene with the photographer capturing the rainbow above the famous fountain. Good layered compo in which the lineup of boats helps to lead the viewer's eye towards the background. Thanks for adding the WS photo, it seems you guys had a great day with a quite large group.

An interesting and unique shot of the marina, with its fountain and rainbow. Clear and crisp images, with the foreground enhanced by the photographer. Sounds like a great meet you had together. Good work.

Très belle photo de ce trekerien photographiant le symbole de genève avec un arc-en-ciel. J'aime aussi le reflet des mats dans l'eau. Très bien vu et je vois d'après toutes les photos dans le thème que vous vous êtes bien amusés avec un météo magnifique.

Jolie composition de TE'ist photographiant le jet d'eau, les reflets des mats et l'arc-en-ciel sont un plus très agréable visuellement.

Dans le Workshop je suis MDR en voyant ce qu'il y derrière Knut, faites un petit tour, ça vaut le détour.

I read somewhere that Charlie Chaplin has his statue build on the Geneva Lake. The guy taking the image surely looked like Charlie in the thumbnail picture. I admire your choice of taking IR photo of the TE group.

Hi Cessy, I am jealous of the big ground getting together in the same place. It is nice to see the colleague face-to-face. A nice event picture in the WS.
Good capture of the photographer in action to take the fountain picture. The rainbow is beautifully show in the marina. A well taken picture.
