Photographer’s Note

The " Cavalino Rampante " (made rear horse) is the historic emblem of the brand Ferrari.
History:
This made rear horse was painted on the cabin of the plane of an Italian airman died during the first world war. It is the mother of this last one who in said to Enzo Ferrari: " put crawling cavalino on your racing cars and he will carry you luck " (The Scuderia Ferrari aligned then Alfa-Romeo...)

It is in 1947 when Enzo Ferrari becomes separate a builder and take the horse made rear as logo. He will add it simply a color yellow bottom of the city of Modena, the fief of Ferrari.

Superbe cadrage graphique mettant en évidence le célèbre enseigne. Le rouge vire un peu vert l'orange mais reste attrayant. Ils ont besoin de plus que la chance maintentant, c'est plutôt des ingénieurs pour prendre des décisions compétantes.

Bonjour Thierry.
J'ai appris lundi qu'il y avait eu une rencontre de ferraristes à Saint Bonnet le Froid. Un photographe comme toi y aurait été à la fête.
Ta photo est simple mais elle met bien en valeur ce cheval cabré si célèbre.

Superbe compo graphique où le rouge domine et la vignette a immanquablement attiré mon oeil. C'est bien fait (malgré une petite surexposition sur le cheval). Grâce à ta note je découvre l'origine de ce célèbre logo.

Et si je ne m'abuse, le cheval avait été adopté par l'aviateur après une victoire contre un avion allemand sur lequel il symbolisait Zuffenhausen... Et c'est donc le même cheval que l'on retrouve dans le logo Porsche !
Une jolie prise en tout cas.

amusant, je viens de publier une Ferrari... Mon truc, c'est plutôt les flat 6... Même si de toutes façons c'est pas pour tout de suite, tout de suite! :D
