Zaehringen bridge Photo

Photographer’s Note

I will not write here all the story of this bridge. You will found this information on this specific web site : Le pont de Zaehringen (in french).
Just one remark about the picture: It has been taken under the bridge, not on the top. In fact the small tunnel that you can see are the foot of the main bridge. As the main bridge is quite high, they have made this baby bridge below to allow the people leaving at this stage to not have to go on the top.

Alors toi aussi tu vas trainer avec ton appareil dans sous ce pont fribourgeois. Attention! Tu risques d'y rencontrer l'infernal duo Zepi et dolin! ;o)
Un cadrage décentré qui va bien et une bonne gestion de la lumière. L'effet de profondeur est impressionnant.

Hello Jacques

Excellent POV, thought you view doesn't exactly guide the view at angle as I am used to see a good POV this view is a bit different from the rest of the world and you have still managed the correct effect.
Nice low amount of light to not block the view but in stead guide the view.
What seems like the tail lights of a car in the distance adds a nice colour to bring more attention to the distance.

The stark contrasts of light and dark, the dramatic lines of one-point perspective, putting the main subject -- the tunnel -- off center, as you have are master strokes of composition. Well done, Jacques.

Je suis estomaqué par cette belle composition, c'est très original; même le reflet de la lentilee n'est pas du tout génant.
Je note aussi une bonne maîtrise de l'exposition.

J'aime beaucoup les couleurs et l'atmostphère que dégage cette photo. Un peu comme si on était dans un polar. Belle perspective en tout cas. Ces 2 traits jaune orangés au loin rehaussent un peu les couleurs.

Salut Jacques, Ca vaut la peine de traîner sous les ponts en voyant ton image. Superbe composition de la photo. Pour la critique, je trouve l'écriture dans le cadre trop importante, elle masque un peu la beauté de l'image. Amicalement/jr

J'aime bien ton idée avec cette prise avant le pont et ce cadrage décentré avec les routes qui se terminent dans les 2 angles.
Belle exposition et superbe profondeur.
6sec ? Etonnant que t'es pas plus de trainées au niveau de la voiture....

Joli ca, superbement cadre, et avec une grande profondeur venant des arches qui se succedent avec leur espacement qui s'amenuise, l'alternance des zones sombres et lumineuses y ajoute aussi, et la voiture complete bien le tableau. J'aime beaucoup, peut etre ce genre de vue va motiver notre Zepi a ressortir hanter les rues de Fribourg la nuit, un genre qu'il a malheureusement delaisse...
