Photographer’s Note
Continuation of yesterday... I could not climb up on the Dent de Broc to make only one photograph... would be not to know me.
Then here it is, the panorama of 360° made since this top. I added some reference marks to allow you to be located.
You can amongst other things see the Mount Blanc in the background.
The Gruyeres Castle is right at the vertical on the right of the top.
The village of Broc with its chocolate factory (Nestle) is located between the lake and the Dent de Broc. Behind, there is Bulle the capital of the Gruyere.
Towards the east, you can also distinguishes Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
We sees a country cottage of mountain pasture burning, it does not take more than one hour so that there remain nothing any more but the stone foundations.
I cannot weary such beautiful landscape. I remained sat at the top more than one hour, just to look at. And I hope that you apreciate it as much as me.
Technique: assembly of 31 photographs covering the 360°.

Lots of work here, Jacques! At first thought that the lighted area was a bad patch, but looking at the image enlarged: hats off to you, great work. Thanks for sharing!

The full circle is always a challenge J. Here you succeded very well. A great landscape, perfect for such a 'photo maraton'. And a big joy to see unfolding in the large version. I was looking for some distrotion but then could see that you used 31 photographs - very impressive (I did one some time ago and used 7 I think) and of course good for avoiding distortion. Top result..

Bonjour Jacques,
Super 360°. :o)
Bonne soirée.

Salut Jacques,
I love views from above and your panoramic is marvellous. I imagine my self taking the same pleasure as you, during one hour and seeing those persons in there enhanced that feeling. The normal size didn't excite me much, but the large version is quite impressive - What a sight! 31 photos? Uhau! Excellent work!
Merci,
Best regards,
Ricardo

Bonsoir Jacques

Another GREAT panorama composition, Jacques. It's impressive and it's beautiful; it's almost like being there. You are really mediating the impact of the beautiful alpine landscape on a clear autumn day, when you're able 'to see forever'... So your reference marks in the large version are welcome, when you're able to include such giants as Mont Blanc and the Jungfrau group. Having uploaded Eiger a while ago, I think I'm able to spot the Nordwand thanks to the shadow. You do an amazing job shooting and assembling 31 shots almost faultless - it takes a very sharp eye to detect any imperfections. A lovely place to be and a lovely depiction of it. Very well done!

Super pano !

Amicalement. Christian
