Photographer’s Note

I have been in Fribourg for my work today and was amased by the Gruyères's lake low tide. So decided to get down to the shore, and took a few shots, whom will form a small serie for the next few days. Welcome to the moon.

Applied a little CT, what do you think?

En voyant la vignette, j'ai eu du mal à croire que cet étendue de sable était située en Suisse ! Je trouve pour ma part qu'il manque une personne ou un objet dans cet avant plan. D'un autre coté le bosquet d'arbre au loin et le décor de l'arrière plan sont superbe !

Hello Vincent. A field, a few trees and a blue sky with a only one small cloud. I am astonished, as one can make a beautiful and photo worth seeing from a simple motive. Congratulation to this aesthetic work of art. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Salut Vincent,
Une composition étonnante pour mes yeux... Je me m'explique. J'ai plutot l'habitude de traiter mes photos en augmentant la saturation et les contrastes... Ce qui n'est visiblement pas le cas de cette photo.
Etonnante car je dois dire que j'aime beaucoup!!! L'effet paysage lunaire est bien là et c'est très sympa!
Bien vu.

Hi Vincent,
Very nice composition. I'd would have never thought of decreasing saturation, but it turned out to have an interesting effect: it gives the suggestion of a warm, moisty atmosphere.
It's almost impossible to imagine that I've been swimming there ;-)
