Photographer’s Note

Re 4/4 engine of Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon railway with passenger train running towards Bern at Mitholz a few km north of Kandersteg.
From Kandersteg the line slopes down through a long zigzag making 180 degrees turn twice. Once inside a mountain slope and another time here at Mitholz.

Traffic along this line will slow down in 2007, when the new 34,6 km long Lötschberg base tunnel will open and bypass the mountain ramps.

Il semble que cette vue ait été prise à partir d'un objet volant ou pas non idenifié.
C'est très bien réussi d'avoir su capter cette photo au moment où la motrice et ses 6 wagnons-passagers étaient en plein centre de la courbe.

Hi Kari,
Like that railway photo as am trainspotter myself. Hear the bend of train is beautiful but I'd fix some things. It's better visually to see the locomotive at the head of train (of course it's difficult to shot sometimes apart from to bring it manually :) And hear I'd like to change the colour balance, it looks like the magenta is more than necessary. At the end it'd be good to do sharpen more. Anyway it's nice to see the shot from Swiss (which is the paradise for rail fans), TFS and regards. Denis.
