Opened in 1978, the Grindelwald–Männlichen gondola cableway is the third longest passenger-carrying gondola cableway in the world. At the time of its building, the cableway was world’s longest aerial gondola cableway.
A visit to Männlichen promises memorable and near-to-nature moments at every time of year. The approach through the Bernese Oberland is an experience in itself, as the Jungfrau massif and Bernese Alps become ever more impressive.

Well framed shot presenting Swiss engineering that brings people closer to the mountain tops. I like the way how you've split the frame between the cableway and massive Wetterhorn in the background.

Hello May - I like the way you have composed this shot. Both the mountain and the cable car occupy their own space within the frame but their association is strong and easily understood. The shot is well balanced and managed. Cleverly done with good quality.

Superb composition with the cable car placed on the left hand side. Beautiful view of the mountains too in a fine sunlight.
