Photographer’s Note
This cherrytree is the only tree in a field of winterwheat near my hometown in Switzerland. There is a dense forest all around and when I took this shot the sun was setting. I liked the long shadows, the shades of green.
There was no PP except for some cropping.

Lovely inspired shot Marialuisa. Simple but enough to catch it. The framing was essential here. Well done!

Very nice composition can be observed on this photo. The tree is placed exactly where it should be. I think that light makes this shot very special. The plain foreground covered in the shadow, bright middle of the image with the subject and again dark background, I really like it!

Hi Marialuisa,
This is a composition just laying there waiting for you! Nevertheless well seen and captured! The dark forest behind, the fence and the lines created by the shadows is very pleasing to my eye... Perfect harmony & silence, only broken by the birds... Very well done!

Good morning Marialuisa -
Well done. A very simple composition and very effective. My only comment would be to clone out the flying bird - my first reaction was that there a very large piece of debris on the lens or sensor until I looked closer. Try this composition at different times of the year and day for a different look. I am sure that mid winter with snow (if possible) it would be striking as well as late spring with the poppies in bloom.

A beauty, Marialuisa. I really like the gradations of green. You have the contrast and the composition just right.
They are denuding earth of forests and trees. Kolkata had alot of greenery. It's giving place to so-called 'development' and fly-overs and multi-storied houses. We are cutting down the branches on which sit. When we fall, we will be destroyed.
Through people like you we will be keeping our heritage intact.

Hey Maria!
Very well composed picture. I like the way the light covers only a part of the picture. The birds on the bottom adds more interest to the picture.
Very well done,
Itamar

Hi Marialuisa,
Simple and beautiful, these lonely trees photos are always very impacting and this one is no exception, you positioned the tree well and the lines converging to it as well as the light falling onto this light green area including work optically very well.
Have a nice week end,
Jean-Yves

Hello Marialuisa,
A beautiful "green" composition. Lovely light falling on this solitary tree and making it stand out against the dark background. The green lines in the fields create and interesting pattern too.
Have a nice week-end.

Hola MªLuisa,
Que paisaje!! Esos verdes tan frescos. Una imagem que es colirio para los ojos. Me gusta el pormenor de los pajaritos jugando por ahi.
El rayo de luz, da un equilibrio de luminsidad en contraste con las sombras orignales.
Muy buen trabajo!!
Besos,
Gabriel

Hi Marialuisa.
This one is so simple as beautiful. Because many times the most beautiful things don't need be complex or difficult. And this is nice: look that light and that colour. The composition is also nice: and the light has become in one more element of the composition.
Really I can enjoy watching one picture like this.
Thanks for share.

Simple, pure, graphic and so effective !
For me, one of your best composition.
Your dof is really good, with all the lines everywhere (in the field, ine the forest...) driving the eye.
Well done.

Bonjour Maialuisa,
Friendly.
Daniel.
