Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken on a flight back from a little round trip, shortly before landing on Buttwil Airfield ... a small grass strip and a rather demanding one for pilots not familiar with the area.

PS. I always liked these green fields but my first post looked somehow dull and a little unfriendly. So I gave it more sharpness and framed it.

the green is amazing, but I'm even more impressed by the single grey field. Looks kind of unreal next to the green.

Beautiful look down on these well cared for fertile fileds. The barns and house contrast well with the flat fields.

hey, Barbara :)
your "looking down" was the featured theme on the first page of TE, so OF COURSE I had to look :) I've always enjoyed how toy-like everything looks from high above, I guess it reminds me of building doll houses as a kid :) the colours in this photo immediately grabbed my attention, and I like the strong geometrical shapes and nicely defined textures. very nice work, I definitely like it.
