The town of Zug is located on the Lake of Zug, or Zugersee. There are not many photos of Zug on Trek Earth, so I will add a few. Zug has a lovely old centre with medieval buildings and a town wall with four old towers preserved. In this view from the Rosengarten, we see the Kapuzinerturm (Capuchin Tower) prominent on the left, and the church of St Oswald on the right. In the middle is the castle of Zug (the small building with steep roof and white walls). On the far left is the tower of St Michael church.
It was a cloudy day so I used Photoshop to brighten up the shadows and give definition to the clouds.

Hi Vince - it is always good to boost under represented places on TE and it looks like Zug deserves it. Another good one to add to your Swiss series. Good POV and colour and plenty of interest in the cloudy mountains behind.

This is indeed a very interesting little town with fasinating architecture.I think you have captured many photographs in one, there is so much to see.The spires stand out well against the soft colours in the sky. A well composed scene and T.F.S.
Kind Regards Gladys

Wonderful place, both for its natural and man-made elements!
Very attractive picture!
Sharpness, exposure, colors, chosen pov, horizontal format and composition really pleased me!

very nice shot with a nice chosen POV to captured the township...like the textured decayed roofs of the buildings in the town...
Good color tones, sharpness, clarity and DOF too. Perfectly well done. I like it.
All the best,
