[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Because today is yet another dull and rainy november day, I have chosen a summer view to raise my mood, this photo shows the Meiental in Switzerland, a valley that links the cantons of Uri and Bern through the Sustenpass and a very nice scenic road.

Taken during the KariDay which later turned out to be one of the best days of that strange summer.

Hi Jean Yves, yes anotehr rainy november day also in Milan...but c'mon, think positive...all that rain...is snow on the Alps!
Ski time is comin'!
good vie,w with a good DOF ging up on the mount to the peak, high quality and beautiful colours too.
thanks, ciao

Hi Jean, what striking and beautiful shot of this mountain view, well done, everything is perfect, composition, position of view, exposure, simply brilliant, well done, thanks for sharing it with us and keep them coming, regards, Salas

Hello Jean-Yves,
A very good composition making best use of the vertical format and showing us some wonderful countryside. Very good light and natural tones and excellent clarity. Greetings from a sunny Charente-Maritime after some wet and dull days.

Hello Jean Yves,
wonderful landscape there.I love the valley view with the different green and also the inclusion of the old houses and the cows. The depth is superb and details show up well, especially the top of the snowy mountain on the right. One has really the impression to look from the bottom to the top enjoying all the details. Bravo.
Kind Regards.
Stella

Nice choice for today Jean Yves a joy for eyes , today in rome it's a windy cloudly day , well done.
Stefano.

Hi Jean Yves,
The pov is very good with strong lines and layers of trees with a vertical composition that fits the image well. What is miss is light, light to brighten up the image, let it shine, make the trees stand out more from the hill. But probably that's to much pp talk which is constant in my mind.
Nevertheless a fine image...
Have a nice day, Henk

Hello Jean-Yves,

Après la cabane de Jean-Marc, voici la cabane de Jean-Yves.
La vue est sympa et le format vertical donne une taille imposante à cette montagne.
J'aime bien cette vue champêtre ou tout semble très calme !
Bien vu !

A+

Hi Jean-Yves,
Lovely scene from high summer pastures. I like that simple shed providing just some storage room and shelter from bad weather. But this one gives me also some second thoughts. Maybe we should have gone closer down there to show animals and shed bigger, and get them closer to the mountain top on that composition.

Salut jean-Yves
Ce versant de montagne semble énorme lorsqu'on le compare à la petite étable.
J'aime vraiment beaucoup ce cadrage vertical.
Bonne journée
Christophe

Hi!
A good composition there for effectively showing the height of the mountain!
I also like the colors, looking natural and not too saturated.

Hi Jean Yves,
What a lovely place, I like the vertical composition and the cow in the frame and one can scale the height of the mountain. Good shot.
Well done
Thanks for sharing
Best regards

This shot has a real sense of verticality to it, with the huge distance between the field and building at the bottom and then way at the top there is the mountain peak. As usual, you have excellent colour and contrast, making it easy for us to imagine that we are there. Nice work!

i ve only been to meiringen in the alps and loved it of course... this one is very swiss and very nice... vertical compo works very well to emphasize the height of the peak... good job aj always jean yves...

regards
