One more photo from Hospental in Switzerland.
The Catholic Church of Maria Himmelfahrt (see photo) was built in 1705-11. See also note to my previous photo.

A very stern looking building, but softened very well by the lush greenery of the landscape around it. Once again, this downwards view is very appealing!
All the best

Summer's green is most notable, Miro, and gave a fine background to the contrsting light-cream color of the church's building.
Actually, counted 7 diff. tones of green in this picture.

This is a beautiful image with a pretty looking church that's in a very nice spot especially in summer and what a great viewpoint taken a slightly different from your previous upload with this lovely settled composition. I think that is the reason why you just can't pass it without taking a shot or two and who could possible grow tired of such a stunning setting, definitely not a scene you could ever get bored of looking at. This has a freshness to it, in feel as well as look. Congrats

J'aime beaucoup cette plongée vers l'église. Le point de vue est exceptionnel pour nous la montrer dans cette ouverture entre les arbres.

another lovely downward point of view that has elliminated the sky and the distant landscapes keeping within the frame only the attractive and interesting immediate surroundings. The viewer can enjoy the architecture, the peaceful green environment and several daily life details. The sense of depth and the framing are superb. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,

A lovely combinatin of fertile fields and traditional architecture. The church looks really embedded in tres and grass. A great view.

Another good POV (from very high) to present the church with a natural cadre given by the vegetation and landscape ( nice one)at the back
That way you add good contrast at the capture
Have a nice Sunday

You had an excellent vantage point to shoot this architectural portrait of the Church. Together with the short but informative note, you've given us a packet in the best spirit of TE — geography through photography.

A "wholesome" environment circles this humble countryside church that seems to dispense its blessings to surrounding Mother Earth for a most-vivid

The 18th century Church from Switzerland stands tall among all the greenery probably at the foothills.Great composition and very well framed.Excellent POV and perspective, beautiful colors and light, good sharpness.I always feel that old monuments should be better preserved and that we see it is better taken care of in Europe.TFS.

I've missed a lot of great photo's while being away for the last few weeks, and this one caught my eye from your gallery. I can't quite figure it out, but it appears to me as a miniature set...almost like a macro shot!? :) I find it intriguing, and even a bit mystified. I really like how the composition plays out, framing the church with the foreground trees while the area "above" opens up into space, all with many subtle shades of green....so very Swiss, so very beautiful! Well observed and presented...I can virtually hear a few birds chirping and some cows in the distance. :) Have a great weekend ahead.

The trees are framing well the Church. The point of view is showing the détails and colours of the Church. The good luminosity is bringing out the beauty of the colours. Have a nice day.

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the Catholic Church with lovely shape and tower, and the surrounding rich greenery. You have caught effectively well the building with which it is dotted at a fixed interval on a lawn in the slanting position. And, it's tasteful for the road which is visible in the distance.
