The high angle of attack causes powerful wingtip vortices to form at the leading edge extensions. The vortices shown are so powerful that the drop in pressure experienced at their center results in visible vapor formations from water precipitating in the air, sometimes called, "vapes".

Bonjour Mauro , voilà une photo qui fait un envieux : moi .Je suis passionné par l'aviation militaire .Ton F-18 déco est superbe gràce a la condensation glissant sur l'extrado mais aussi ta photo est prise en pleine montagne .
