Photographer’s Note
He was at the helm of a pre-WWII Curtiss hawk 75 but
at the last minute an engine failure prevented him to fly. Bad, the airplane was great and the pilot's face
and gear "original". I would have loved to talk to him, alas....
For my french friends: In the workshop find the take-off shot of a WWII Morane-Saulnier MF406 in great shape and with impressive performances. Beautiful airplane with an incredible engine sound.

well WWII jet are like that.. its old they do break for reasons..
