I've thought that I should post at least one picture from my home country, which is Switzerland, before I continue with all the other pictures from Asia.
It's not really a picture which is easy to see a connection with Switzerland. But that is because most people don't look to the ground while being in Switzerland, why should they with all the majestic mountains above their heads. Well, after living most of my life in this country a risked a glance downwards (ironically while trekking) and nature rewarded me very generously for my courage...
All the bugs where so busy finding their mating partners that they gave my intruding macro-lens all the freedom in the (micro) world.

It is already at the stage where I can't wait to see what you put up next. As you imply yourself a bit of a surprise compared to your first couple of photos - but another great shot.
My Namibian/German wife talks to me about heimat when I start going on about photographers seeing things in their home environment that make their shots so different to the average tourist/traveller.
regards and thanks once again, Iain

I cant believe more people havent commented on this pic.
It is amazing.
The insects look like they are all dressed up with evening dresses and suits on. The sharpness and the color of the photo bring the bugs to life.
Great cropping and love the composition.
